High purity zirconia (ZrO2) crucibles are great refractory and insulating container. I have used this now for at least 20 smelting at over 1200 Celsius and the crucible is still going.
Pre heat it at 200C for 1 hr to drive off any moisture prior to first use.
Quality is very good in my opinion.
